Florida Mortgage Market – Forecast for the Week

by Florida's #1 Mortgage Planner on April 21, 2008

Where are bonds headed?  Most likely, nowhere.  There is little in the way of economic data that can move the markets this week, so we will be left awaiting some news headline or simply technical indicators to guide the way.

With bonds breaking out of their recent trading range last week, it is unlikely they will get back to it.  However, after dropping within 20 basis points of their 200-day moving average, they did rush back to test their 50-day MA on Friday.

As we move forward, without any catalyst to break bonds free, they will likely bounce between these two moving averages.  Since bonds are currently just shy of their 50-day MA, movement is most likely lower this week.
